This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient packaging of eggs for storage, transport, and market distribution. Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to:
Egg Packing: Carefully pack eggs into cartons, crates, or trays, ensuring that only clean and undamaged eggs are selected for distribution.
Quality Control: Inspect eggs for cracks, dirt, or other defects and follow farm quality standards.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily production, egg counts, damaged products, and packaging output.
General Housekeeping: Keep the work area, storage facilities, and surrounding farm areas clean, tidy, and safe.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all farm health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies.
Farm Support: Assist with other general farm tasks when necessary, including light equipment handling or seasonal work.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other farm staff to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have the following:
- Prior experience in general labour, agriculture, or warehouse work.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime if required.
- Farming experience or background in poultry/animal care is a strong advantage.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for handling and maintaining farm tools or simple machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality standards.
- Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg under a visa sponsorship program.
