The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Factory Mechanical Pipefitter to join our growing team at our Dundalk site. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career with a progressive and dynamic company. The role will focus on the assembly of prefabricated pipework modules and plantrooms in a state-of-the-art factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble prefabricated pipework and plantroom equipment.
- Work from schematic and assembly drawings to complete installations.
- Position and install support bracketry and pipework across varying module designs and sizes.
- Perform pressure testing on completed installations.
- Carry out related mechanical tasks such as bolt torquing, insulation block installs, threaded rod capping, and additional bracketry installation.
- Support other areas of the assembly yard when required.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in all tasks.
What You Need to Have
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical industry role involving similar duties.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic and assembly drawings.
- Own basic set of mechanical tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- Flexible and willing to assist in other areas when needed.
What Would Be an Advantage
- Full UK driving license.
- Valid CSR card.
- Current forklift license.
- Overhead crane or elevated work platform (EWP) license.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ).
